Gaze

This is a very cool and interesting photo. While I have no idea what kind of bird it is, it caught my attention because of the unique shape of its neck, which adds a nice flow to the overall picture. The different textures and sharp details of the feathers and the beak are fantastic. Great DOF, it leaves me wondering what the orange spot in the background might be.
I'm also very fond of the colors, the rather dull gray tones against the bright orange in the beak and background make for a nice contrast.
I think just a bit more space to the right would make this picture even better! Overall good job at capturing this beauty!
