I like the way the color of the wood 'matches' the color of her hair, the detail in both, the way she is placed against the architectural features of the window, the way her skin glows with rich healthy color.
Does her clothing show up as too distinctive and eye catching? I don't know. Is the shadow under her chin a little too dark? I don't know. I don't really think so, on the shadow. She, her head and face, might fade a little too much into the building behind her.
Haha I don't even know...there's just something about it I can't describe that's just...off to me
As for the shadows...yea, I made the mistake of scheduling the shoot a bit too late in the day, so the shadows were pretty harsh, I have some pics, that'll never see the light of the day where the shadows make her nearly invisible, lol.
late in the day makes for strong interesting shadows, that's not bad, unless you don't want them, lol, makes for more drama, and plays up the curves of whatever landscape or humanscape your shooting, part of it was just how dark the woodwork was in the first place
Nice composition, 50mm is a great length for portraits.
Thanks a lot
